For too long, most Americans have been left behind and disregarded as our politicians battle for ever more control by their political party and wealth for their ultra rich drivers. And it is not just the poor who are being marginalized. The insecurity ascends well into the middle class as the extreme national debt and bizarre economic policies degrade savings, investments, and global trade. Now it is hunting season for the very wealthy in America to take what little bit of national wealth is still accessible to ordinary Americans. We deserve so much better from our leaders but they are busy right now.
What can we do?
We believe most people in America crave a major improvement and we want to be part of that change.
What We Can Do
Intentional Democracy (Democracy 3)
We aim to promote a new level of functional democracy starting with intentional design of constitutions to generate governments, societies, and economies that are sustainable. Moreover, we aim for them to sustain inclusion, stability, and widespread prosperity by intelligent constraint and cooperation of people, government officials, and corporate players. Given the rapid development of AI and advanced computing options now arriving, we aim to work on an interactive model to estimate the most probable effects of specific provisions in constitutions. In particular, the application of quantum computing, with its ability to consider many options simultaneously, seems to open a real potential for this kind of modeling and fine tuning of a constitution to provide specific outcomes.
Return of the Elders
For most of us, our grandparents played significant roles in giving us affection, comfort, and knowledge. In many cultures, Elders continue to make major contributions to their families and communities late into their lives. Their ability to do so is diminished when they lack sufficient income to live well and be a financial resource. Rather than discard a significant fraction of our Elders because they are poor, we aim to turn this on its head. When we assign an Income Generator to an Elder client, they will get a generous monthly stipend while the fund grows steadily. Because the Income Generators will be transferable, the Elders will be able to contribute to their family and community when they are alive, and be able to pass on the fund (and its monthly income) to someone else. With the proper safeguards, likely achieved using NFTs and blockchain technology, this could provide persistent family wealth.
DeFi Liquidity Income Generators
Each Income Generator is a cooperative effort involving a seed fund, a client account (growth fund), and a liquidity income manager. In our vision, Income Generators exist indefinitely and can be transferred. If this can be ensured, they will provide a growing number of income loci generating monthly stipends and slowly growing family wealth. In our vision, each client who is assigned an Income Generator will consent to allowing the Income Manager to use the growing fund to double twice before becoming the private property of the client. At each doubling of value, the fund will be split and the spin-off portion will be used to provide a new Income Generator to a new client. Thus, the same initial investment will be used to create three income generators. We call this viral replication (the good kind). This is how Income Generators could very rapidly convert poor Americans now living in poverty and consuming government social services, into financially self-sufficient (and happier) Americans paying taxes (that is, tax expense transforms to tax revenue without government involvement). The key to this is to find people engaged in promoting social progress who also have substantial experience generating gains from investment in DeFi liquidity pools. We believe this to be an approach and technology for ending poverty. This will become hugely significant as the need for human labor shrinks dramatically in the future. Many more people than now will be unemployed in the corporate sense. What we do now, is preparation for what is coming. It also has huge potential for speeding the post-war recovery of Ukraine.
